  • Role — who should the AI be? ("a direct-response copywriter")
  • Context — audience, product, constraints.
  • Task — the specific deliverable.
  • Format — length, structure, tone.
  • Examples — one or two samples of "good".

Give examples. A single sample of your best work teaches a model your voice faster than a paragraph of adjectives ever will.

Treat the model like a brilliant new hire on day one: it is capable, but it has never seen your brand. Brief it like one.
